Description
Enhanced hand tracking
By wearing a tracker on your wrist, the software can predict the tracker's movement trajectories even when it is out of sight of the camera for a limited time. With the VIVE Wrist Tracker, the position of your hand is predicted even when you leave the field of the tracking camera.
6DoF object tracking
The VIVE Wrist Tracker works with the same tracking technology as the VIVE Focus 3 controller. The LEDs are directly associated by the tracking cameras of the VIVE Focus 3 to enable precise 6DoF tracking from inside to outside. As a result, you can easily attach the VIVE Wrist Tracker to real-world objects while tracking them accurately.
Upgrade 3DoF to 6Dof
If you need to track smaller objects, a small 3DoF sensor can be attached to an object such as a screw or surgical clip. The VIVE Wrist Tracker makes it easy to track hand-held objects by combining the rotation data from the 3DoF sensor with the data it provides to provide a complete 6DoF experience.
